After spending 6 seasons in the Mets minor league system catcher Brook Fordyce finally got the call to join the big club in 1995. He made his Major League debut on Opening Day as a pinch runner for David Segui. Fordyce would make 3 more appearances for the Mets, all as a pinch hitter.
