Aaron Harang – His New York Mets Career 2013

Aaron HarangThe Mets signed right-handed pitcher Aaron Harang on September 1st, 2013 following his release from the Seattle Mariners.  Harang initially reported to the Las Vegas 51’s, the Mets top minor league club, where he appeared 1 game before joining the Mets staff on September 12th. 

He made his Met debut against the Washington Nationals and suffered the loss yielding 3 runs over 6 innings.  He did however strikeout 10 batters.  Harang would start 3 more games for the Mets, but did not win a game.  He finished the season 0-1 with 3.52 ERA.

Following the season Harang signed as a free agent with the Cleveland Indians.

While with the Mets Harang wore number 44.
