Kyle Farnsworth – His New York Mets Career 2014

kyle farnsworthThe Mets signed veteran right-handed pitcher Kyle Farnsworth as a free agent on February 3, 2014.  He made his Met debut on April 2 against the Washington Nationals, in one inning of relief he allowed 2 hits and 1 run as the Mets lost 5-1.  Farnsworth would go on to pitch in 19 games, all out of the bullpen, before being released by the Mets in the middle of May.  At the time of his release his record was 0-3 with an ERA of 3.18 and 3 saves.  His first save came on April 21st against the St. Louis Cardinals.  He also earned the save in his final appearance with the Mets on May 12th against the New York Yankees.

While with the Mets Farnsworth wore number 44.
