Ricardo Rincon – His New York Mets Career 2008

Ricardo RinconAfter signing with the Mets as a free agent on January 23, 2008, left-handed pitcher Ricardo Rincon spent the season in the minors before getting called up to New York in September.  He made his Met debut on September 5th, he pitched 2/3 of an inning in the Mets 3-0 loss to the Philadelphia Philias.  Rincon would appear in 8 games for the Mets down the stretch, pitching a total of 4 innings while posting a 0-0 record with 4.50 ERA.

While with the Mets Rincon wore number 73.

Pittsburgh Pirates – 1997,1998
Cleveland Indians – 1999-2002
Oakland A’s = 2002-2005
St. Louis Cardinals – 2006
